Le Régional
Le Régional is a weekly newspaper available in all of Hamilton’s francophone organizations or online. Covering activities and containing news articles on Hamilton, Niagara and Waterloo-Wellington, Le Régional is an important source of information for the region’s francophone community. It is managed by the Alto Media Group, a local and regional information leader in Central South Western Ontario through its press network.

The Alzheimer Society is a non-profit health organization that works across Canada to improve the quality of life of Canadians affected by Alzheimer’s disease. The Alzheimer Society leverages its own and community resources to deliver health promotion, advocacy and support services to people with dementia, those at greatest risk of developing dementia and their carers. and to advance research on cause and the cure.

The role of Local Health Integration Networks is to plan, integrate and fund local health care as well as deliver and coordinate home and community care. The Hamilton Niagara Haldimand Brant (HNHB) LHIN works with its communities to improve health services. Our goal is a health system that keeps people healthy, gets them good care when they are sick, and will be there for our children and grandchildren.

RFSSO
As a leader in networking and analysis, the RFSSO creates opportunities for collaboration to help develop more accessible French health services and respond to the needs of Francophones in tangible ways. The Network’s main activities aim to inform healthcare stakeholders of barriers faced by francophones, link healthcare stakeholders with resources to better serve francophone communities and optimize the healthcare system in collaboration with all stakeholders in order to provide quality care to francophones.

Hamilton Public Health Services
School Program
Hamilton Public Health provides health promotion services and disease prevention efforts to improve health and address health inequities in the community. The Hamilton Public Health school program delivers evidence-based projects and services that contribute to the optimal health of school-aged children and youth in collaboration with school boards, schools and community partners.
